Partner Guidelines
What is expected of a flexbio.link Partner, how the referral link and giveaway budget work, and what ends a partnership.
These are the rules a flexbio.link Partner agrees to. They are not the Terms of Service — the Terms cover every account, these cover the partnership on top of it. Where the two disagree, the Terms win.
What a partnership gives you
- A referral link (
flexbio.link/register?ref=…) that credits registrations to you. - The Partner badge on your profile, with a choice of icon.
- A giveaway budget in Credits, earned from referral milestones.
Beyond Credits, the milestones unlock perks: at 10 qualified referrals a Credits giveaway for your community, at 25 Verified status and extra rewards, at 50 Discord Partner access and team perks. They arrive with the milestone, not on request.
What counts as a referral
Only registrations that confirm their email address count towards your milestones. Everything else — an unconfirmed sign-up, an account that never opens again — sits in your panel as pending and is worth nothing.
That rule exists because it cannot be gamed cheaply. It also means the honest way to grow here is the slow one: bring people who actually want a profile.
One person, one account
Registering accounts yourself, paying for sign-ups, or asking people to create accounts they will not use is the fastest way to lose the partnership. We do not need to prove intent — a pattern is enough.
The giveaway budget is not your wallet
Credits from referral milestones land in a separate partner balance. It is restricted on purpose:
- It funds claim links you create for your community.
- It cannot buy anything on your own account — no badges, no marketplace items, no shop purchases.
- You cannot claim your own link. The Credits left your balance when the link was created; redeeming it yourself would just move them back.
A claim link costs amount × number of recipients, taken up front when you create it. Stopping a link returns the unused part. Links expire after 30 days.
How you are expected to promote it
Mention flexbio.link where it fits — your bio, a pinned message, a video description, an answer to someone asking what you use. That is the whole ask.
What is not acceptable:
- Unsolicited DMs, mass mentions, or posting the link in servers and comment sections that did not invite it.
- Misrepresenting what flexbio.link is — promising features that do not exist, implying an official relationship you do not have, or presenting paid items as free.
- Selling or renting your referral link, or trading it for engagement.
- Using the giveaway budget as payment for services, follows, or votes. It is for your community, not a currency you trade.
Keep your own profile honest
Your profile is the example people see first. Keep it complete, keep it yours, and keep it within the Terms of Service — the same content rules apply to you as to everyone else, and a partner breaking them is a worse problem than a regular account doing it.
Your referral link is yours to protect
If you regenerate the link, the old one stops working immediately and anyone who registers through it is not credited to you. Do that only when you have a reason to — a leak, or a link you no longer control — and update the places you published it.
What ends a partnership
Staff can flag or revoke a partnership at any time. The usual reasons:
- Fake, bought or botted referrals.
- Spam, or promotion that misrepresents flexbio.link.
- Abusing the giveaway budget, or trying to route it back to yourself.
- A Terms of Service breach on the partner's own account.
- Going quiet — a partnership that is no longer used may be closed to keep the programme meaningful.
Revoking a partnership removes the badge and stops the referral link. Credits already collected stay, but the restricted budget goes with the partnership, and active claim links are stopped.
If something is unclear
Ask before doing it. Open a ticket in our Discord — a question costs nothing, and it is a much better outcome than finding out afterwards that a campaign broke a rule.
